Terms of Service: SnapVisaPhoto

1. Who we are
SnapVisaPhoto (snapvisaphoto.com) is operated by Skuld Luo, an individual, based in Guiyang, Guizhou, China. Contact: snapvisaphoto@mail.grokbot.com.
2. The service
We offer a photo compliance check and cropping/layout to official specs for US passport, UK digital passport, and Schengen (Germany) visa photos. For US passport and Schengen photos, we only crop and scale your photo; we never change its content. We do not use generative AI, and we do not edit faces or backgrounds. For UK digital photos, as GOV.UK instructs, we do not crop. UK digital photos are delivered as your original file with EXIF/GPS metadata removed losslessly; only if the file is not a JPEG or is larger than 10 MB does your browser convert it to JPEG at the same pixel size (quality reduced in steps from 95% until it is under 10 MB), and files under 50 KB are flagged so you can retake them. We do not offer UK printed photos.
3. Not a government service; no guarantee of acceptance
We are not affiliated with any government agency. Only the issuing authority decides whether a photo is accepted. We do not guarantee that any authority will accept your photo. You are responsible for submitting your own application through official channels.
4. Price and payment
The price is US$6.99 per order. One order covers one person and one photo specification. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown on the Creem checkout page before you pay.
Creem is the Merchant of Record for all purchases: “When customers make a purchase through Creem, they are technically buying from us as the Merchant of Record” (Creem docs). Creem is the legal seller of the transaction, so “Creem” may appear on your card statement (source). Creem’s terms also apply to your purchase: https://www.creem.io/terms
5. Refunds
Creem’s terms state that refunds “are handled exclusively by Creem” (Creem Terms §11.1), so every refund goes through Creem. To request a refund, email snapvisaphoto@mail.grokbot.com with your order details. If we do not respond within 7 days, you may contact Creem support (source). Creem may also refund you on its own initiative in certain cases, for example where the law requires it or after a technical error or duplicate payment (Creem Terms §11.3). Creem also says it can process refunds within 60 days (source). Refunds typically reach your account in 5–10 business days (source). Our refund conditions:
- Full refund for a duplicate payment, for a technical failure that prevents you from downloading your files, or if the output dimensions do not match the specification you selected.
- Official rejection: if a government authority rejects your photo, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by sending the authority’s rejection notice. We assess the request from that notice, so it does not depend on your photo, which we will already have deleted (see Section 6).
- We do not guarantee that any authority will accept your photo.
- If you receive a refund, your photo is deleted as soon as we receive the refund notification from Creem (and in any case within about 24 hours of upload).
All refunds are processed through Creem. These conditions do not limit any refund rights that Creem or applicable law grant you.
6. Your content
You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo (for example, of yourself or of a child in your care). Handling of photos: see the Privacy Policy. We do not use your photos to train any AI or machine learning model. Your photo is processed in your browser until payment. At payment it is uploaded, without EXIF/GPS metadata, to temporary storage. US and Schengen photos are re-encoded to JPEG first. UK digital photos are delivered as your original file with EXIF/GPS metadata removed losslessly; only if the file is not a JPEG or is larger than 10 MB does your browser convert it to JPEG at the same pixel size (quality reduced in steps from 95% until it is under 10 MB), and files under 50 KB are flagged so you can retake them. It is deleted within about 24 hours of upload. You must download your files within 24 hours; after that they cannot be recovered. Download links are valid for 15 minutes, and you can request new ones while your order exists. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
Use the service only to prepare genuine photos of real people for official documents. Do not upload others’ photos without consent.
8. Limitation of liability
We provide the service on an “as is” basis. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for decisions made by government authorities, or for delays, fees, or travel costs that result from them. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away any protection that the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live give you.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes on this page and change the “Last updated” date. The terms in force when you placed your order apply to that order.
